From what I've read in the news coverage about the previous Sunday's Academy Awards, I think it was an extreme act of bravery on the part of host Jon Stewart to remark to television viewers that they were able to "see all of your favorite stars without having to donate any money to the Democratic Party."
Kudos to Jon. Is there some award we can give him for his candor?
