Regarding Herb Jaffe's comments in his Feb. 16 letter, "Counting down the days until term ends," which was a response to Robert H. Miller's Feb. 14 letter, "We'd be worse off with Gore or Kerry":
Most of the time I simply ignore the transparent views of "Bush Haters."
But Mr. Jaffe's letter pushed my buttons. People like him couldn't look at Mr. Miller's views objectively simply because in Mr. Jaffe's "Blue State World" he thinks he is right.
I'm not necessarily "warm and fuzzy" with our current administration's lack of trying to be a little kinder in foreign policy, but I do feel safer with this administration.
Gore and Kerry, if they had the opportunity to practice what they are currently preaching, would weaken this country ... badly! So, when Mr. Jaffe starts questioning the mentality of the "red states," he should remember that he lives in one.
He is outnumbered.
He should go find a home in the "Wild Blue Yonder," or accept the fact he is better off "Red."
