Shame, shame on Reps. Jim Gibbons and Jon Porter for voting to pass the punitive budget cuts while giving away the store on tax cuts. The Medicaid cuts are especially awful, because Nevada already ranked lowest of the low in Medicaid funding. If their budget vote to further reduce Medicaid funding isn't an immoral act, then I don't know the meaning of the word.
The stench of their self-serving partisan loyalty will hover over Nevada and take its toll.
Now I want to hear from them, specifically: How do they both plan to provide basic services, and health care in particularly, to the most needy portion of our population in Nevada?
