Letter: Gaming regulator’s invaluable legacy

With regard to Bobby Siller's retirement from the Nevada State Gaming Control Board, his law enforcement experience was important but his value as a gaming regulator went far beyond that.

He brought to his gaming control duties the highest ethical standard, an inquiring and open mind, a practical approach to law, a great concern for the gaming industry and the welfare of its employees, an open-door policy, a sense of fairness, a spirit of independence and the courage to remain on a path he determined to be right.

Bobby Siller leaves an indelible mark on Nevada gaming control.
