Micheal Brandise
Micheal Brandise, 45, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 31, 1960, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a finish carpenter and an Army.
He is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Brandise of Salt Lake City; his parents, Harry and Diane Brandise of Henderson; four sisters, Diana Baal and Tina McLean, both of Las Vegas, Hillari Kwon of Salt Lake City and April Gibbons of Roswell, N.M.; one brother, Enrico Brandise of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, John Brandt of Heber City, Utah, and Norma Burkhart of Henderson.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Saturday and one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to Westcare, 401 S. Martin Luther King Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89110.
Joseph R. Denson
Joseph R. Denson, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born June 18, 1939, in Texas. A resident for 10 years, he was an aircraft engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta; one son, Randle Denson of Las Vegas; one daughter, Detra Denson of Los Angeles; four sisters, Sandra Stanley, Cynthia Andrews, Willie Ann Denson and Patricia Stanley-Nelson, all of California; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling private arrangements.
Julia L. Goff
Julia L. Goff, 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A resident for 43 years, she was born Dec. 30, 1941, in Louisiana.
She is survived by one brother, Rodger Turner of Ohio; and two sisters, Lizeola Turner and Marylin Williams, both of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 2-5 p.m. Sunday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Thomas and Jones. Burial will follow in Davis' Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
William Lovell
Mendenhall
William Lovell Mendenhall, 93, of Las Vegas and Alamo died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 29, 1911, in Cedar City, Utah. A resident for 64 years, he was a tire recapper for Goodyear.
He is survived by two sons, Karl Mendenhall of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Roger Mendenhall of Las Vegas; two daughters, Saundra Harris of Alamogordo, N.M., and Nadean Mendenhall of Las Vegas; one brother, Rulon Mendenhall of Cedar City, Utah; one sister, Wilma Goodman of Payson, Utah; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-6 p.m. Sunday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Monday in the Sloan/Alcott chapel of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Leonard C. Smith
Leonard C. Smith, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A resident for 18 years, he was born Jan. 18, 1939, in Arkansas.
He is survived by one daughter, Marla Smith, and one son, Leonard Smith Jr., both of Indianapolis; one brother, David Woody of Mississippi; and two sisters, Annie Buford and Julia Whitmire, both of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 3-5 p.m. Sunday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in Thomas and Jones. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Darrel Wayerski
Darrel Wayerski, 46, of Las Vegas died Monday in Rising Sun, Ind. He was born Feb. 16, 1959, in Spokane, Wash. A resident for 37 years, he was a hotel-casino food and beverage director.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela; three daughters, Christy Wayerski, Autumn Wayerski and Stephanie Wayerski, three sons, Robby Wayerski, Andrew Wayerski and Matthew Wayerski, his parents, Roberta and Robert Wayerski; and two sisters, LeeAndra Belcastro and Dee Dee Wayerski, all of Las Vegas; one brother, John Wayerski of Seattle; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 1 p.m. service Monday in the Viking Road chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
