Robert Eugene Bedwell
Robert Eugene Bedwell, 64, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 30, 1941, in Kansas. A resident for eight years, he was employed in the computer science industry, and he was a member of the NASCAR Fan Association.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Eugene Bedwell and Mitchell Evan Bedwell; one daughter, Theresa Bedwell; one brother, Ronald W. Bedwell; and six grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Las Vegas Humane Society, 2250 E. Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Robert E. Carey
Robert E. Carey, 63, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 11, 1941, in Paterson, N.J. A resident for 10 years, he was a computer engineer and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Brian Carey and Boyd Carey; one sister, Marianne Wasko; and two grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
Hazel Mary Davison
Hazel Mary Davison, 93, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 9, 1912, in Bolivar, Mo. A resident for nine years, she was an elementary school teacher.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Ann Baker of Las Vegas and Jean Scholl of Williams, Ariz.; one son, Allen Davison of Ash Fork, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Cemetery.
Clementina M. Eduarte
Clementina M. Eduarte, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 2, 1922, in the Philippines. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Letcia Maddul of the Philippines and Cathy Llapitan of Las Vegas; six sons, Eduardo Eduarte, Modesto Eduarte, Reynaldo Eduarte, Victoriano Eduarte, Miguel Eduarte and Clarence Eduarte, all of the Philippines; 27 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Douglas L. Freeman
Douglas L. Freeman, 90, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 26, 1914, in Saratoga, N.Y. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired laborer and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Irene; one daughter, Carol Heckeler of Henderson; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be 10:40 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
The family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 5190 S. Valley View Blvd., Suite 101, Las Vegas, NV 89118.
Douglas Caldwell Nelson
Douglas Caldwell Nelson, 67, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 22, 1938, in Riverside, Calif. A resident for 14 years, he was retired.
He is survived by his wife, Renae E.; three sons, Doug L. Nelson of Oregon City, Ore., Bob Nelson of Wilsonville, Ore., and J. Graigory Nelson of Los Angeles; two daughters, Sherrie Moorman of Durango, Colo., and Kellye L. Fetters of Amity, Ore.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Agnes Nowak
Agnes Nowak, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born March 5, 1918, in Chicago. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, James Nowak of Las Vegas; and one daughter, Marian Sylvester of Henderson.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 1 p.m. service Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
The family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Disease Association, 3441 W. Sahara Ave., Suite A-8, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
Carol O'Keefe
Carol O'Keefe, 60, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 20, 1944, New Jersey. A resident for 11 years, she was a psychiatric nurse.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; two sons, Robert McCarthy and Kenneth Corson; and his mother, Gertrude Lovelock.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sept. 23 in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston Blvd. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
John Henry Peterson
John Henry Peterson, 47, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. Born Feb. 25, 1958, in Cuba, N.Y., he was a photographer.
He is survived by his father, John E. Peterson; his mother, Peggy Jean Roskilly; and one brother, Thomas Tijerina; and one sister, Linda Jean Tijerina.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a noon service Friday at Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
