Letter: Are we creating a world army?

He stated, "No doubt many would be willing to serve for some set period in return for one of the world's most precious commodities -- U.S. citizenship. Open up recruiting stations from Budapest to Bangkok, Cape Town to Cairo, and Montreal to Mexico City."

Furthermore, I read in the Village Voice that at least some people are carrying out a plan similar to Boot's.

In the Village Voice it stated that there are roughly 37,500 foreign nationals from more than 200 countries currently serving in the U.S. armed forces. Legal residents are permitted to enlist, and the law provides for expedited naturalization of those who serve in the military. Individuals in the United States illegally cannot serve in the military.

Am I to conclude that there is some kind of a plan to create a world army controlling a borderless society? I hope not.
