twitter18-year-old arrested in shooting death

North Las Vegas Police arrested 18-year-old Courtland Doughton in a shooting death near Simmons Street and Washburn Road Thursday night, police said.
Doughton was booked into the North Las Vegas Detention Center late Friday.
Officers were called to a home in the 5100 block of Crystal Canyon Drive near Clear Canyon Road about 11 p.m. Thursday after receiving calls about gunshots outside, Officer Tim Bedwell, police spokesman, said.
The man who was shot, whose name has not yet been released, was found dead as the result of one or more gunshot wounds.
