Troy Dewayne Boirum

Troy Dewayne Boirum, 39, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 6, 1966, in Covina, Calif. A resident for 33 years, he was a former construction site applicator.

He is survived by his parents, Donna and Alec Boirum, two brothers, Steven Boirum and Timmothy Boirum, and two sisters, Cathy Laplante and Connie Dixon, all of Las Vegas.

Arlene Brosky

Arlene Brosky, 68, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born May 14, 1936, in Killdeer, N.D. A resident for 13 years, she was a drugstore cashier.

She is survived by her husband, Robert H.; two sons, Robert G. Brosky of Valparaiso, Ind., and Jeff Brosky of Portage, Ind.; and three daughters, Denise Lindy of Valparaiso, Cheryl Collins of Hawthorn Woods, Ill., and Patti Brosky of Woodstock, Ill.

Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Dorothy Jean Clark

Dorothy Jean Clark, 84, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 15, 1920, in Swampscott, Mass. A resident for many years, she was a drill press operator for a rifle manufacturer.

She is survived by one son, Bernard A. Clark of Cato, N.Y.; one daughter, Beverly J. Thayer of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Edward E. Earl

Edward E. Earl, 38, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 5, 1966, in Louisiana. A resident for nine years, he was a counselor at a group home.

He is survived by his fiancee, Cassandra Dawson of Las Vegas; two brothers, the Rev. Alex Earl Jr. of Monroe, La., and Howard Earl of Las Vegas; and five sisters, Lavada Johnson of New Orleans, Doretha Morris and Doris Earl, both of Las Vegas, Regina Ambeau of Baton Rouge, La., and Kathy Coleman of St. Joseph, La.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in the Great Commission Interdominational Church, 3329 Coleman St., North Las Vegas. Burial will be in Louisiana. Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Clyde Ralph Flenniken

Clyde Ralph Flenniken, 91, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 6, 1913, in Sherman, Texas. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired musician.

He is survived by one son, J. Michael Flenniken of Hacienda Heights, Calif.; one daughter, Judy Jarrard of Trabitz, Germany; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Joseph P. Geisbauer

Joseph P. Geisbauer, 36, of Las Vegas died Wednesday. He was born Nov. 7, 1968, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a hotel valet.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia A. Geisbauer of Las Vegas; and one brother, Anthony W. Geisbauer Jr. of Canyon Country, Calif.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Will Gillette, 86, of Las Vegas died May 3 in a local hospital. He was born April 1, 1919, in Canada. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired supervisor at the Veterans Administration.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; two sons, William Gillette of Lakewood, Colo., and Don Gillette of Olivenhain, Calif.; one daughter, Linda Biddle of Baxter, Iowa; two stepsons, Arthur Walters of Des Moines, Iowa, and Walter Walters of Ava, Mo.; one stepdaughter, Juliet Smith of Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren' and 11 great-grandchildren.

William Dale Hicks

William Dale Hicks, 70, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born June 16, 1934, in Nebraska. A resident for 30 years, he was an alc tech, a Navy veteran and a member of American Association of Retired Persons.

He is survived by his companion, Maude; two sons, Vern and Dale; three daughters, Sandra, Melissa and Cheryl; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Joseph H. Murray

Joseph H. Murray, 79, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 25, 1925, in Johnstown, Pa. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired production manager for an electrical manufacturing company and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Doris; four daughters, Barbara, Joann, Kristine and Patricia; four sons, Mark, Richard, Paul and Jon; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Donald F. Pribble

A memorial service for longtime Las Vegan Donald F. "Don" Pribble will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Tie Club, 329 N. 11th St. Pribble, a longtime newspaper advertising salesman for several local publications including the Las Vegas Sun, died April 20 at age 65. Pribble graduated in 1958 from Rancho High School and received the first Las Vegas Sun Scholarship established by late Sun Publisher Hank Greenspun. He was an Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Judy Pribble; a son, Pryse Pribble; a stepson, Gregory Beldsoe; a stepdaughter, Amanda Sollitto; lifelong friend "Poppa" Leo Berney; and two grandchildren.
