Norma V. Connors

Norma V. Connors, 80, of Watertown, Wis., died March 10 in Watertown. A former Las Vegas resident, she was born March 4, 1925 in Wisconsin.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; one son, Robert Luther of Jefferson, Wis.; two daughters, Bridget Luther of Watertown and Pam Wiechmann of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled 1 p.m. today in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Margaret E. Dow

Margaret E. Dow, 87, of Stuart, Fla., died March 6 in Stuart. She was born in Owosso, Mich. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a retired receptionist and waitress in the casino industry.

She is survived by two brothers, John M. Bohunsky of Punta Gorda, Fla., and James P. Bohunsky of Indianapolis.

Martin Funeral Home and Crematory in Stuart is handling private arrangements.

Elmer J. Edley

Elmer J. Edley, 60, of Las Vegas died March 11 in Las Vegas. A custodian for the Clark County School District, he was born Jan. 4, 1945, in Dallas.

He is survived by his wife Louise of Los Angeles.

Services and burial will be in California. Simpson Family Mortuary is handling arrangements.

Robert Anthony Evans

Robert Anthony Evans, 54, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. A tile setter, he was born Dec. 10, 1950 in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

He is survived by his wife, Leeann Howe; two stepsons, Phillip McCoy and Aaron Howe, one stepdaughter, Tanya Crossman and his stepfather George Smith, all of Las Vegas; three brothers, Daniel Evans and John Evans, both of Las Vegas, and Frank Evans of Georgia; three sisters, Dorothy Hatten and Stacey Bostick, both of Florida, and Sandra Wilsow of New York; and four grandchildren.

Alvin Elliott Gibbs

Alvin Elliott Gibbs, 72, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 5, 1932, in Cecil, Ala. A resident for eight years, he was a retired income tax investigator, an Army veteran and a member of the Detroit Connection Inc. and Detroit Municipal Employees Union.

He is survived by his wife, Norma E.; one son, Andre D. Gibbs of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; two daughters, Alicia S. Gibbs of North Las Vegas and Anita T. Gibbs of Detroit; three sisters, Rosa Whitt of Selma, Ala., Mabel Galloway of Eufaula, Ala., and Eunice G. Campbell of Chicago; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Additional visitation will be one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Monday in Victory Missionary Baptist Church, 500 W. Monroe Ave. Graveside services will be noon Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Linda Faith Fahey Hodge

Linda Faith Fahey Hodge, 45, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born June 18, 1959, in Cleveland.

She is survived by her husband, Warren; two sons, Michael Covington and J. Covington; her mother, Ruth Mueller of Sun City, Calif.; one brother, James Fahey; one sister, Rose Fahey; and three grandchildren.

Jim 'Pegleg' Lovstad

Jim "Pegleg" Lovstad, 61, of Las Vegas died March 9 in Las Vegas. He was born June 18, 1943, in Omaha, Neb. A resident for 17 years, he was an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by one son, Jim; one daughter, Dawn; his mother, Helen Lovstad; three brothers, John Lovstad, Jack Lovstad and Butch Lovstad; one sister, Susan; and five grandchildren.

Krystina M. Martin

Krystina M. Martin, 2, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 23, 2003, in Las Vegas.

She is survived by her parents, Evelyn G. and Jason A. Martin, two sisters, Katrina A. Martin and Kayla M. Martin, one half-sister, Erica M. Martin, her grandparents, Cesaria Gaona, Ann and Oscar Castro, and her great-grandmother, Philomena A. Consiglio, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Additional visitation will be 1-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Chapel. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way, Las Vegas, NV 89108. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.

Richard Odom

Richard Odom, 57, of Las Vegas died March 11 in Las Vegas. A retired cook at the Silver Nugget, he was born Sept. 9, 1947, in Lordsburg, N.M.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Johnson; one daughter, Linda Sampson; and one son, Dean Odom.

Frank Ragusa

Frank Ragusa, 71, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 3, 1933, in New York City. A resident for eight years, he was a retired sanitation engineer and a Korean War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; three daughters, Karen Calarco and Teri Wright of Las Vegas and Donna Vilmenay of Henderson; and one son, Daniel Ragusa of Henderson.

Visitation will will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the Shrine of the Most Holy Redeemer, 55 E. Reno Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Cemetery.
