Mary Louise Abbit

Mary Louise Abbit, 93, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 15, 1911, in Jefferson, Texas. A resident for 53 years, she was a licensed missionary and church mother.

She is survived by three daughters, Francis Harts, Ella M. Johnson and Martha Robertson-Shaw; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ, 911 N. G St. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Winfield 'Ash' Ashcraft

Winfield "Ash" Ashcraft, 85, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 11, 1919, in Childress, Texas. A resident for 55 years, he was a retired dealer and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his companion, Lillian Wagley of Las Vegas; two grandnieces; and two grandnephews.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Elizabeth 'Annie' Buckman

Elizabeth "Annie" Buckman, 56, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 28, 1948, in Cozad, Neb. A resident for 16 years, she was a Realtor, a certified real estate specialist and a member of the Board of Realtors.

She is survived by one daughter, Kelly Kruidenier, one son, Shawn Krudenier, and her lifetime partner, Payton Kruidenier, all of Scottsdale, Ariz.; her mother, Betty Armbruster of Cozad; one sister, Susan Moore of Denver; one brother, Andrew Armbruster of Omaha, Neb.; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

The family suggests donations to the Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow, 2069 E. Sahara Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89104.

Johnathan Roy Alan Daniels

Johnathan Roy Alan Daniels, 5 1/2 months old, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born Sept. 22, 2004, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his mother, Danielle Lester, his father, Anthony Daniels, and his grandmother, Teri Lea Daniels, all of Las Vegas; and his grandfather, David Alan Lester of Henderson.

Visitation is scheduled 10-11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Marjorie M. DeMille

Marjorie M. DeMille, 80, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. She was born June 10, 1924, in Canada. A resident for 53 years, she was a retired accounts receivable clerk at a hotel.

She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie DeMille of North Las Vegas.

Ernest L. Eagan Jr.

Ernest L. Eagan Jr., 81, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born March 6, 1924, in Niagara Falls, N.Y. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired network installer for Pacific Bell and Rockwell, was a member of the Southern Nevada Model Railroad Engineers Club, Telephone Pioneers of America and Odd Fellows Artesia Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Olive; one son, Bryan Eagan of Sacramento; three stepdaughters, Jeannette Romaine of Alhambra, Calif., and Barbara Jones and Cynthia Smith, both of Las Vegas; one stepson, Edward Smith of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 4 p.m. service Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Phyllis Ann Haas

Phyllis Ann Haas, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born April 5, 1929, in Humboldt, Iowa. A resident for 40 years, she was a retired retail supervisor.

She is survived by two sons, Jack Haas of Humboldt and Robert Haas of Las Vegas; two daughters, Paulette Swenson and Kathy Diaz, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Gene Finney of Indiana; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Adriana Hubert

Adriana Hubert, 54, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born April 22, 1950, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A resident for nine years, she was a restaurant owner and manager.

She is survived by her husband, Carl; three sons, Charles Conner of Apple Valley, Calif., Shawn Mageau of Las Vegas and Eric Hubert of Landers, Calif.; her mother, Ana Bonafont, and one sister, Sandra Bonafont, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Charles Bonafont of Alhambra, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.

Ruth Opal Palmer

Ruth Opal Palmer, 93, of Boulder City died Thursday in Boulder City. She was born May 24, 1911, in Wetumka, Okla. A resident for 26 years, she was a retired drugstore clerk.

She is survived by one son, James T. Palmer of Boulder City; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Randolph J. Scott Sr.

Randolph J. Scott Sr., 44, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 22, 1960, in Germany. A resident for 31 years, he was a bartender.

He is survived by two sons, Randolph Scott Jr. and Ryan Scott; two brothers, Robert Scott and Dean Nowe; one sister, Susie Scott; and two grandchildren.

Barbara Hope Weiss

Barbara Hope Weiss, 67, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 15, 1937, in Chicago. A resident for nine years, she was a retired university keypunch operator.

She is survived by her husband, Philip; and one brother, Robert Siegel of Fox Hills-Culver City, Calif.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.
