Southern Hills Hospital now hosts an educational series called Seniors Can that offers free health and lifestyle tips to people 50 and older every Thursday through April 21.
Classes are from 1-2:30 p.m. and held at the hospital, 9300 W. Sunset Road
The Seniors Can program offers a variety of courses ranging in topics from basic nutrition to crime prevention. Other course subjects include reading food labels, disease prevention and even successful dealings with telemarketers. In addition, registered guests will receive weekly giveaway items and practical paraphernalia to use at home after class. Call 880-2125.
