Sacred Space Expos scheduled Saturday
The third annual Find Your Sacred Space Expo is set for 11 a.m. Saturday at the West Las Vegas Library, 951 W. Lake Mead Blvd.
Explore women's issues in a series of workshops that include lectures, discussions, African dance, music and visual arts.
There will also be a reception for artists Ameenah Shafeeq and Judith Long, whose artwork will be on display. Admission is free.

NLV to adopt Visioning 2025 plan
The Visioning 2025 Strategic Plan will be unveiled at the North Las Vegas City Council meeting at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. Residents are invited to attend.
During the meeting the City Council will vote on the adoption of the plan, and a celebration will follow in the City Hall lobby.
The plan is the result of more than eight months of work and is intended to guide city leaders for the next two decades.

Las Vegas Ward 5 Outreach Services
will present Free Super Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Park, Las Vegas Boulevard North at Washington Avenue. It is to include carnival games, clown art, face painting, jump house and a free educational mini workshop. Refreshments will be available. Call 229-2158.
