Art winners announced

Coronado High School's Key Club announced the winners of its first Key Club Art Contest themed "How I Can Help My Community," held for elementary school students. Two hundred dollars will be donated to the schools of the first place contestants, Green Valley Christian School and Glen C. Taylor Elementary School, in support of their art programs, and gift certificates will be given to the artists of the winning entries.

In the Kindergarten through third grade division, the winners are:

First place: Paige Bremner (Green Valley Christian School) Second place: Lourdes Marie H. Trimidal Third place: Lane Warrall

Honorable mentions are: Jacob Jasper, Makynna Melgan, Chyenne Novinski, Kaitlyn Dute and Ai Van Vu.

In the fourth through fifth grade division, the winners are:

First place, Morgan Hope (Glen Taylor Elementary School) Second place, Blake Jennings Third place, Joseph Nicholas Gallo

Honorable mentions are: Robyn Litchfield, Colton B. Spilsburg, Rachel de Vera, Burgandy Donovan McMillen and Julia Cieslak.
