Mormon Fort wil celebrate birthday
The Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort State Historic Park will celebrate 150 years in Las Vegas and the completion of the new Visitors Center and Museum 9 a.m. Saturday at the, 500 E. Washington Ave.
The event will include a full day of activities, food and celebration. Entrance to the park will be free Saturday. Family and friends are welcomed. For more information, call 486-3511.
Women offered health exams
Nevada Health Centers will offer free pelvic exams, clinical breast exams, cervical cancer screening and classes to low-income, eligible women 40 and over on June 17, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Family Health Center, 1700 Wheeler Peak Drive.
The one-day services will be offered with the help of the Women's Health Connection, a program supported by federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and state health division funds.

The Gem Club will present Those Fabulous Thunder Eggs,
a program scheduled 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Multi-Use Building, 1204 Sixth St. in Boulder City. The public is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served. For more information, call Sue McCullough at 293-7853.
The Las Vegas Rescue Mission
will hold a fundraiser Golf Tournament beginning with check-in and breakfast at 6 a.m., Saturday at the Angel Park Golf Course, 100 S. Rampart Blvd. Call 278-6195.
