A teenager involved in the beating death of a 17-year-old at the Boulevard mall was sentenced to one to four years in prison on Tuesday.
District Judge Michael Cherry imposed the sentence on Ratasit "Joe" Oudom, who had pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter for his participation in the attack on Lee Masangkay last year.
Police said Masangkay was attacked in the mall's food court after exchanging words with gang members at the mall. The attackers kicked and punched Masangkay and hit him with chairs in the food court, witnesses said.
