Lisa Ann Colbert

Lisa Ann Colbert, 42, of North Las Vegas died Jan. 5 in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 12, 1962, in Colorado Springs, Colo. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Lindsay A. Colbert and Landree A. Colbert, both of North Las Vegas; her parents, June and Clint Colbert Jr. of Las Vegas; one brother, Clint L. Colbert III of Germany; and three sisters, Gwendolyn D. Artis and Kim Colbert, both of North Las Vegas and Dora A. McDonald of Los Angeles.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Adolinda Malisani Del Ponte

Adolinda Malisani Del Ponte, 95, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Henderson. She was born Sept. 27, 1909, in Italy. A resident for 17 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Odilia Station of Las Vegas; one son, Luigino Del Ponte of Italy; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in California.

Sharyn Ellis

Sharyn Ellis, 58, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 14, 1946, in Tooele, Utah. A resident for 16 years, she was a homemaker, publisher of The Saints magazine and a member of Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sharilee Ellis; and one brother, Greg Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Paul H.; six sons, Rusty Ellis and Benjamin Ellis, both of Las Vegas, Bryan Ellis and Jason Ellis, both of Whittier, Calif., David Ellis of Henderson and Nathan Ellis of New Harmony, Utah; one daughter, Annalee Ellis of Las Vegas; four brothers, Paul Williams, Lamar Williams, Ron Williams and Mark Williams; one sister, Ann Lapointe; and 19 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled two hours prior to an 11 a.m. service Saturday in the LDS Meadows Stake, 3200 Mustang Road.

The family suggests donations to the LDS Humanitarian Tsunami Fund.

Judith Volk Houston

Judith Volk Houston, 66, of Las Vegas died Jan. 5, in Las Vegas. She was born April 12, 1938, in Bethlehem, Pa. A resident for many years, she was a retired bookkeeper.

She is survived by one son, Daniel of Adamsville, Tenn.; two daughters, Sharon of Phoenix and Kathleen of San Anselmo, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.

Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive, is handling private arrangements.

Allen Brett Hutchison

Allen Brett Hutchison, 13, of Las Vegas died Sunday at Mount Charleston. He was born April 10, 1991, in San Leandro, Calif. A resident for two years, he was an eighth grade student at Sig Rogich Middle School, a member of Southern Nevada Junior Golf Club, played the guitar, loved extreme sports and playing baseball.

He is survived by his parents, Rita R. and Nelson B. Hutchison, and two sisters, Chanel M. Hutchison and Brittney R. Hutchison, all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Gloria and John Norman of San Leandro, Calif., and Martha Hutchison of Reno.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in Faith Community Lutheran Church, 7464 W. Sahara Ave.

Michael O'Brien

Michael O'Brien, 43, of Las Vegas died Jan. 5 in Las Vegas. He was born July 26, 1961, in Easton, Pa. A resident for more than five years, he was a landscape maintenance worker.

He is survived by one son, Jason, and one daughter, Carmen, both of Florida; one brother, Daniel of Adamsville, Tenn.; and two sisters, Sharon of Phoenix and Kathleen of San Anselmo, Calif.

Clifford W. Parmeter

Clifford W. Parmeter, 93, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born March 30, 1911, in Canada. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired airport senior maintenance employee.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie E.; one daughter, Marjorie Bowles of Las Vegas; one sister, Dorothy Gorham, and one brother, Ralph Parmeter, both of Ottawa; two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Patricia Pezzillo

Patricia Pezzillo, 58, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born Sept. 13, 1946, in Temple, Texas. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Niel; two sons, Brian Pezzillo of Henderson and David Pezzillo of Las Vegas; her parents, Henry and Letha Knight of Albuquerque; two sisters, Beverly Knight of Las Vegas and Deborah Knight of Albuquerque; one brother, Wayne Knight of Albuquerque; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in the Shrine of the Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 55 E. Reno Ave. Burial will be private.

Richard Stevens

Richard Stevens, 82, of Phoenix died Sunday in Phoenix. He was born Sept. 10, 1922, in Montpelier, Idaho. A former Las Vegas resident, he was a local employee of Seaboard Finance Co., a Phoenix employee at Roberts Aircraft Co., owned and operated Glenn's Tool Service, was a World War II Navy pilot and had attended Utah State University.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara; two daughters, Sandy Barnett and Cindy Van Cleave; one brother, Herb Stevens; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Messinger Mortuary, Scottsdale, Ariz., is handling arrangements.

Michael E. Tucker

Michael E. Tucker, 58, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 15, 1946, in Spokane, Wash. A resident for 44 years, he owned an electrical firm and was a Vietnam War Navy veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Tamra Mamud, and two sisters, Michele Parkemeyer and Pamela Baxter; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Albert Turner

Albert Turner, 40, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 13, 1964, in Las Vegas. A resident for 40 years, he was a laborer at local conventions.

He is survived by two daughters, Alyssa C. Edwards and Ashley L. Edwards, his parents, Earnestine and John Williams, and one brother, Jesse J. Turner Jr., all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Belinda T. Edwards and Tameka Z. Lawson, both of Las Vegas, and Lisa L. Turner-Martin of Pomona, Calif.; and his grandparents, Mellie D. and Walter R. Pearson of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Thursday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be noon Friday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Charles E. Utz

Charles E. Utz, 87, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born May 30, 1917, in Bristow, Okla. A resident for nine years, he was a retired grocery store owner-operator and a World War II and Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Christine; one daughter, Carolyn Loper of Reno; one sister, Betty Tinney of Tucson; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in Reno. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

David C. Walker Sr.

David C. Walker Sr., 57, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 14, 1947, in Starcross, N.J. A resident for 45 years, he was an automobile mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Rose T.; one son, David C. Walker Jr. of Henderson; one daughter, Rosey Johnson of Las Vegas; three sisters, Barbara Streff of Philadelphia, Vera Nagler of San Diego and Linda Mackay of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Bessie A. Zakhar

Bessie A. Zakhar, 76, of Pahrump died Thursday in Pahrump. She was born Jan. 13, 1928, in Kansas. A resident for 10 years, she was an assistant chef for a local casino.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan I. Card and Barbara Adams; two brothers, Bob and Wayne; four sisters, Shirley, Mae, June and Carol; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
