NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE
Trout are hiding in brush around Special Events Beach and stripers are coming in to feed on the recent planters. Anglers are using top water lures as well as anchovies.
Boaters are still having good luck in the Las Vegas Wash area. They are taking stripers with jigs, surface lures and by drifting with anchovies.
NDOW was scheduled to stock rainbow trout today at Hemenway, Horsepower, Pumphouse and North Saddle coves.
Typically, anglers have had some luck for stripers that weigh 10 pounds or more following trout plants. Trout was scheduled to be stocked today at Aztec Wash and Jan. 14 at Cottonwood and Placer coves and Willow Beach.
