Worker falls at McCarran
Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005 | 9:43 a.m.
A 40-year-old construction worker fell from the third floor to the second floor of McCarran International Airport's D-Gate expansion project this morning.
Clark County Fire Department crews and paramedics responding to the airport this morning used a construction crane and a basketlike stretcher to lower the man to the ground.
The worker did have feeling in his hands and feet and appeared to not be seriously injured, but fire crews took the precaution of using the crane and stretcher to immobilize him.
