A three-month transition has begun for a Las Vegas gaming equipment supplier that is changing its name and restructuring.
Progressive Gaming International Corp., formerly known as Mikohn Gaming Corp., announced that effective today, the company's trading symbol on the Nasdaq stock market exchange has changed to "PGIC" from "MIKN."
A spokeswoman for the company said today the transition is expected to occur over the first quarter and will involve Mikohn becoming a privately held signage subsidiary of Progressive Gaming. Publicly traded Progressive develops and distributes slot machines, table games and player tracking and accounting systems for those devices.
