Letter: No way to win war on Iraqi turf
Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005 | 9:08 a.m.

We can pull out now or wait 10 years when we are bankrupt and the dollar is worthless, but we aren't going to win a war against guerillas in their own country. George Washington taught the British that a long time ago. And President Lyndon Johnson learned the lesson more recently in Vietnam.
What in the world was George Bush thinking, anyway? Or does he think?
