Odessa Armstrong
Odessa Armstrong, 66, of Las Vegas died Dec. 26 in Las Vegas. She was born June 3, 1938, in Epps, La. A resident for 14 years, she was a porter at the Gold Coast, a member of Paula Temple 1382 and Eastern Star Pride of Love.
She is survived by six daughters, Betty Harris, Barbara Harris, Vernessa Harris, Mossie Harris, Wanda Burns and Carolyn Rogers, one son, Calvin Harris, four brothers, James Calvary Burns Jr., Robert Burns, Charles Burns and Michael Burns, and two sisters, Shirley Sistrunk and Sharon Burns, all of Las Vegas; 21 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. today in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Greater New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1100 N. D St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Juana Feliciano-Orlande
Juana Feliciano-Orlande, 95, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 4, 1909, in Puerto Rico. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Marie Carmen Testa of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Cecilia J. Garcia
Cecilia J. Garcia, 47, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 26, 1957, in Bossier City, La. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Women's International Bowling Conference.
She is survived by her husband, Orlando; two sons, Michael Keeton of Las Vegas and Mark Keeton of Ackerman, Miss.; and one grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Alice May Jackson
Alice May Jackson, 64, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A retired owner-operator of a catering business, she was born Jan. 1, 1940, in New Edinburg, Ark.
She is survived by her husband, J. Van; one daughter, Shirley Redic Jackson of Las Vegas; three sisters, Odessa Nelson, Joyce Golden and Joann Broughton; one brother, Perry Broughton; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Linda Lee Johnson
Linda Lee Johnson, 66, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born May 15, 1938, in Perrysburg, Ohio. A resident for 33 years, she was a casino cashier.
She was preceded in death by one son, Ron Jones.
She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Jones of Las Vegas and Valerie Johnson and Karen Johnson, both of Kerrville, Texas; five sons, Chuck Jones, Jimmy Johnson, Tom Jones, Rick Johnson and Bob Johnson, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Richard Twining and Bill Twining, and two sisters, Sue Weis and Marilyn Pheils, all of Ohio; and 16 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
Chad R. Juryn
Chad R. Juryn, 29, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 28, 1975, in South Carolina. A resident for nine years, he was a laboratory technician.
He is survived by his parents, Ron and Paulette; and one sister, Jennifer.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
Jack Klein
Jack Klein, 70, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 19, 1934, in Chicago. A resident for seven years, he was a retired shoe salesman, an Army veteran, a member of the Chicago West Side Club and B'nai B'rith.
He is survived by his companion, Florence Sulpar of Las Vegas; two daughters, Lori Klein-Blazek and Gayle Bermingham, and one son, Howard Klein, all of Chicago; and four grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Services will be in Illinois. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Lila Vivian Vondra
Lila Vivian Vondra, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 12, 1929, in Nebraska. A resident for 30 years, she was a hotel desk clerk.
She is survived by one daughter, Terri Lorenzen; and two grandchildren.
Mass will be celebrated noon Tuesday in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 315 S. Casino Center Blvd. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Harold F. Windsor
Harold F. Windsor, 85, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Nov. 17, 1919, in Kamsack, Saskatchewan. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired polymer chemist.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Lella-Windsor; three daughters, Judy Hiltbrand of Syracuse, N.Y., Louise Lella of Denver and Mary Lella of Boston; one son, Anthony Lella of Las Vegas; one sister, Maude Harvey of Regina, Saskatchewan; one brother, Charles Windsor of Vancouver, British Columbia; and one grandchild.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
John C. Wolfe
John C. Wolfe, 80, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. He was born April 16, 1924, in Bakersfield, Calif. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired manager and a World War II and Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Charles Wolfe of Las Vegas; one daughter, Isabella Peterson of Salinas, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
