A Rolling 60s Crips gang member wanted in connection with a 2001 shooting in Los Angeles was arrested in Las Vegas Monday by the Nevada Fugitive Investigative Strike Team.
Kenneth Gilliam, 20, was found by the U.S. Marshal-led task force in an apartment in the 10000 block of West Sunset Road after a weeklong investigation, Marshals officials said.
Gilliam, who was a juvenile when he was charged with shooting three men in Los Angeles, escaped custody during his March 2002 trial. His trial continued without him and he was found guilty, but Los Angeles authorities had not been able to locate him before developing a lead that he was in Las Vegas.
