Diana M. Baca
Diana M. Baca, 62, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born April 5, 1943, in Santa Fe, N.M. A resident for 10 years, she was a nurse's aid for the Clark County School District.
She is survived by her husband, Gene; two sons, Ronald Baca of Santa Fe and Christopher Baca of Las Vegas; one daughter, Milissa Ross of Monroe, La.; and one grandchild.
Services will be held in Santa Fe. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Bradley 'Bunk' Edmondson
Bradley "Bunk" Edmondson, 88, of North Las Vegas died Aug. 2 in a local care center. He was born April 22, 1917, in Roswell, N.M. A resident for 58 years, he was a retired automotive machine shop owner and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Edmonson of North Las Vegas and Susie Forti of Henderson; one son, Bob Edmondson of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a noon service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Cemetery.
The family suggests donations to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Grand Central Station, P.O. Box 4777, New York, NY 10163.
Serge Gaucin
Serge Gaucin, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 15, 1922, in El Paso, Texas. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired casino host and a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa; two daughters, Denise of Los Angeles and Yvette of Modesto, Calif.; one son, Jesse Gaucin of Las Vegas; and one brother, Jorge Gaucin of El Paso.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Lederrian D. Williams
Lederrian D. Williams, 23, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 11, 1982, in Nevada. He was a laborer in the construction industry.
He is survived by his father, Leotis Jackson of Las Vegas; his mother, Carolyn Williams, two brothers, Demario Williams and Tramon Williams, and one stepsister, Tamekia Daugherty, all of North Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Rosie B. Williams of North Las Vegas, Abraham Mike of California, Edna Jackson of Louisiana and Kerry Anderson of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Monday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Greater Carver Baptist Church, 1221 N. J St.
Orlando Whitmore
Orlando Whitmore, 45, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 20, 1959, in Nevada. A lifelong resident, he was a security officer.
He is survived by one daughter, Kiaescha Whitmore of Las Vegas; two sons, Jasara Whitmore of Las Vegas and Duane Whitmore of Indiana; his mother, Dorothy Whitmore, and his father, Freddie Clasper, and two brothers, Royal Wilcox and Duane Whitmore, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Martha Wooten and Devi Laws, both of Las Vegas, and Shirley Washington of California; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-5 p.m. Sunday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, followed by burial in Davis Memorial Park.
