An elementary school counselor asks that a student who has gotten his act together be able to go summer camp.
"In the beginning of the school year he was rude, angry and always in trouble," she wrote.
The counselor said that she and the boy's teacher worked with the student and now he is friendly. The boy has saved up some money for camp but needs help to pay for the experience.
"It is important for him to continue feeling like others really care about him, and he needs to succeed in other environments," the counselor writes.
You can help send someone to camp by giving to the Las Vegas Sun Camp Fund. All donations go directly toward sending a child to camp.
