$4.3 million jackpot hit at Tahoe casino

STATELINE -- A Texas woman came to Lake Tahoe a vacationer but will return to Dallas a millionaire.

Elizabeth Hae-Jung Kim, 38, hit a $4.3 million Wheel of Fortune jackpot Saturday night at Harveys Casino & Resort on Tahoe's south shore.

She said she had invested about $100 in the machine and was thinking about moving to the next one when she hit the payoff.

She said she will be able to buy her mother a car and to send her son to private school.

"Now I can relax and stop being concerned about money," she said.

Wheel of Fortune, based on the television program, is a slot machine system that links more than 150 Nevada casinos. Three $1 coins must be played to win the big jackpot, which is paid in annual installments.
