Woman is killed in I-215 accident
A 28-year-old North Las Vegas woman was killed early today when she lost control of her vehicle on Interstate 215, the Nevada Highway Patrol stated.
Gina Lambert died when she was ejected after rolling her Chevrolet pickup truck while northbound on 215 between Charleston Boulevard and Far Hills Avenue, Trooper Loy Hixson said.
Lambert was the only occupant of the truck, he said.
Man found dead by side of highway
A 50-year-old man from Jean was found dead Tuesday on the side of State Route 161 between Sandy Valley and Goodsprings, Metro Police stated.
The man, whose name was being withheld by authorities, was discovered by a truck driver at about 11 a.m. and had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, according to police.
The Clark County Coroner's office ruled the death a homicide.
