Students compete to develop themed rooms

Art Institute of Las Vegas interior design students Jamie Pfarr and Jennifer Jobes worked on a "Forbidden Vegas"-themed room at the Spring Las Vegas Home Improvement and Decorating Show at Cashman Center Thursday. Michelle King, Latrease Mitchell and Elissa Partell of the International Academy of Design and Technology work on a Amazing Johnathan-themed room. The students are competing to develop the most intriguing themed room. The home show opens Friday and runs through Sunday.
