51s lose on walk-off single

Adam Morrissey hit a tie-breaking, bases-loaded single in the ninth inning Sunday to lead the Sacramento River Cats to a 4-3 victory against the Las Vegas 51s in West Sacramento, Calif.

Tim Harikkala pitched 3 1/3 scoreless innings of relief to earn the win for the River Cats, who led 3-1 before Mike Rose's two-run double in the sixth. Rose, who played for Sacramento the last two seasons, went 3-for-4 for Las Vegas.

But Jermaine Clark had three hits for Sacramento, and Morrissey got the decisive hit off former Oakland Athletics reliever Mike Venafro, who allowed two hits and two walks in the ninth.
