Penny Lee Blake

Penny Lee Blake, 45, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 4, 1959, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was an administrative assistant in the real estate industry.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; two sons, Michael Whitcher and Joey Campsey, and two daughters, Melissa Collier and Darlene Campsey, all of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Edward E. Boudrias

Edward E. Boudrias, 77, of Boulder City died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born April 30, 1927, in Readville, Mass. A resident for nine years, he was a retired warehouseman for a toy distributor, a World War II and Korean War Marine Corps veteran, a member of the Boulder City Elks Lodge, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by three daughters, Mary Stifflemire of Lexington, Texas, Laura Leytham of North Las Vegas and Cecile Haetinger of Springfield, Mass.; one son, Charles Boudrias of East Hartford, Conn.; one sister, Lauretta Shelley of Vermont; two brothers, Maurice Boudrias of Massachusetts and Albert Boudrias of Connecticut; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

James L. 'Sunny Jim' Brewer

James L. "Sunny Jim" Brewer, 64, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 3, 1941, in Sioux Falls, S.D. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired Tacoma, Wash., paramedic and firefighter, a massage therapist and a former employee at his family's drugstore in Seattle. He was an Air Force paramedic, flew Air-Evac missions during the Vietnam War, cared for wounded servicemen and was a member of the AMIGA Club of Tacoma.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia K.; two daughters, Karen Haley and Diana Woodard, and one sister, Judy Halder, all of Washington state; one brother, Steven P. Nesdore of Kalispell, Mont.; and six grandchildren.

Betty Jean Davis

Betty Jean Davis, 75, of Las Vegas and Pahrump died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born July 6, 1929, in Kewanee, Ill. A resident 38 years, she was a picture printer at a photo lab.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Irene Grant; and one brother, Wayne Ensley.

She is survived by three sons, Larry Martin of Tucson, Gene Johnson of Las Vegas and Earl Johnson of Coolidge, Ariz.; three daughters, Kay Nathan of Florence, Ariz., Judy McCullor of San Antonio and Rebecca Hess of Las Vegas; three brothers, Leo Ensley of Chicago, Dean Ensley of California and Gary Ensley of Oklahoma; two sisters, Elaine Cooper of Kewanee, Ill., and Nancy Whitsell of Alpha, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Davis' Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Faalelea Esau

Faalelea Esau, 74, of Las Vegas died April 6 in a local hospital. She was born April 1, 1931, in Pago Pago. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Perenise Dorsey and Puaula E. Bahn, both of Las Vegas; and five sons, Iakopo Vaialega of American Samoa, Tofu Esau Vaialega of Michigan, Omaha Esau Vaialega of Washington state and Miki Esau Vaialega and Fitutasi Esau Vaialega, both of Las Vegas.

Services were scheduledat 11 a.m. today in the Congregational Christian Church of American Samoa, followed by graveside services at noon in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Carl M. Fowler

Carl M. Fowler, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 14, 1933, in Pensacola, Fla. A resident for 31 years, he was a retired manager in the beverage industry and a Korean War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sally; two daughters, Ruby Crosthwaite of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., and Jennifer Weber of Las Vegas; three sisters, Thelma Dunning, Ann Powell and Dian Moore, all of Pensacola; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Rodney John Gallegos

Rodney John Gallegos, 28, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Nov. 23, 1976, in Henderson. He was a laborer in the construction industry.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; two daughters, Rissa Gallegos and Aniessa Gallegos, both of Henderson; his parents, Jackie and Mel Gordon, one sister, Samantha Gordon, and two brothers, Casey Gallegos III and Melvyn Gordon, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Joseph James Infantino

Joseph James Infantino, 72, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born June 5, 1932, in Chicago. A resident for four years, he was a retired medical accounts payable clerk.

He is survived by one brother, Tony J. Infantino, and one sister, Vita Infantino, both of North Las Vegas.

Martin M. Medina

Martin M. Medina, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 12, 1925, in Camotlan, Colima, Mexico. A resident for five months, he was a retired farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; four daughters, Maria, Ophelia, Patricia and Elvia; eight sons, Carlos, Nicholas, Jose, Gilbert, Martin, Enrique, Oscar and David; 27 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Christopher K. Miller

Christopher K. Miller, 27, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born July 5, 1977, in Elk Grove Village, Ill. A resident for 10 years, he was a cyclotron operator in nuclear medicine.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Vincent; two daughters, Ashlyn Miller and Breanna Miller, both of Las Vegas; his parents, Dawn and Thomas Miller, and one sister, Rebecca Miller, all Idyllwild, Calif.; and two brothers, Brian Miller of Las Vegas and Shawn Miller of Katy, Texas.

A memorial service was scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Joseph M. Oakes Jr.

Joseph M. Oakes Jr., 74, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. He was born July 10, 1930, in Glen Cove, N.Y. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired aerospace engineer and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Sharon Harker of Beaufort, N.C.; one son, Cecil Parson of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.

Rizalina B. Ramos

Rizalina B. Ramos, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 30, 1938, in the Philippines. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Rosalina Estes of Las Vegas, Carolina Gasmen and Evagelina Ramos, both of the Philippines; four sisters, Lorna Igla of Clementon, N.J., Josephina Tucci of Hesperia, Calif., Natividad Taylor of Las Vegas and Carmen Banut of the Philippines; one brother, Eustquio Bulseco of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until a 1 p.m. service Wednesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Eddie J. Shaw

Eddie J. Shaw, 40, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 21, 1963, in Nevada. A lifelong resident, he was a utilities maintenance worker at a local hotel.

He is survived by his parents, Willie and Ida Shaw of Louisiana; three brothers, Danny Shaw and Bill Newell, both of Louisiana, and Joseph Davis of North Las Vegas; and six sisters, Gert Newell and Debbie Shaw, both of Louisiana, Betty Shaw of Minnesota, Billie Shaw and Elizabeth Shaw, both of Texas and Roseland Smith of Las Vegas.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Louisiana. Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Wanda Lee Slack

Wanda Lee Slack, 80, of North Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born July 5, 1924, in North Platte, Neb. A resident for 45 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; two sons, Ronald Slack and Mark Slack, both of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Mary White

Mary White, 78, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 2, 1926, in Washington, D.C. A resident for 42 years, she was the first unit secretary of Southwest Regional's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Sunrise Hospital until she retired after 18 years.

She is survived by her husband, Jack; one son, James White, two daughters, Virginia Leonard and Jacqueline Purdy, and one grandson, Joshua White, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Visitation was scheduled one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service today in All Saints Episcopal Church, 4201 W. Washington Ave. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to All Saints Episcopal Church's Memorial Fund, 4201 W. Washington Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89107.

Paula 'Sally' Williams

Paula "Sally" Williams, 70, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 13, 1935, in Columbus, Ohio. A resident for 19 years, she was a retired bookkeeper in the real estate industry.

She is survived by two daughters, Harlene Ferrell and Linda Mann, and one sister, Phyllis White, all of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite animal shelter.

Joseph John Zaludek

Joseph John Zaludek, 90, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 15, 1914, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired owner-operator of an automatic screw machine company.

He is survived by his wife, Enis; one daughter, Nancy Mileto of Phoenix; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
