Murals

Mural renderings and other works by several artists involved in the creation of 100 murals for the city's centennial will be displayed from today until Aug. 26 at the Bridge Gallery at City Hall, at the corner of 4th Street and Stewart Avenue. Admission is free. 229-4674.

Art competition

Submissions are being accepted for the May 1 "Art of the Bicycle" amateur art show sponsored by the Silver State Bicycle Coalition. Submissions will be accepted until Monday and can be dropped off at Las Vegas Cyclery, 8221 W. Charleston Blvd. The fee for each work submitted is $5, and proceeds will be used to buy bicycle helmets the SSBC donates throughout the year. All art selected will be displayed at Jitters Gourmet Coffee, 8441 W. Lake Mead Blvd. 243-9477.

'Less is More'
