Church to host bazaar on weekend
St. Christopher's Catholic Church will hold a bazaar from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the church, 1840 N. Bruce St., North Las Vegas.
The church is asking for donations such as dinner/show tickets, room reservation, monetary donations, T-shirts, caps, gift certificates, or any items that can be used for raffle prizes.

Reception planned for CCSN chief
The Community College of Southern Nevada and the CCSN Foundation are jointly hosting a reception to welcome Richard Carpenter, newly appointed CCSN president, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at Cili's Restaurant at the Bali Hai, 5160 Las Vegas Blvd. South.
The event will provide the opportunity for Carpenter to present his vision for the future of the college.

Infant massage classes scheduled
Blissful Baby infant massage classes are being offered in a three-part series to Las Vegas families through the Barbara Greenspun WomensCare Center from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday and Oct. 9 and 16 at St. Rose Dominican Hospitals Siena Campus, 3001 St. Rose Parkway, Henderson.
Learn massage techiques that provide pain relief from gas, colic and teething and help to promote longer and deeper sleep. Partners and caregivers are encouraged to attend.
Cost is $30.
