John Bradnan

John Bradnan, 89, of Henderson died Sunday. He was born June 2, 1915. A resident for two years, he was a meat cutter and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Judy Willis; and three grandchildren.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Lillian Freier

Lillian Freier, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 2, 1917, in New York City. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Mervin; two sons, Stanley Freier of Ashfork, Ariz., and David Addad of Las Vegas; one daughter, Lois Finn, and one brother, Herbert Cohen, both of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

JoAnn Livziey

JoAnn Livziey, 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 9, 1927, in Seminole, Okla. A resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Walter H.; one daughter, Melody K. Crook; two sons, Devin S. Livziey of Las Vegas and Stephen M. Baker of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11:30 a.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

David E. Morgan

David E. Morgan, 49, of North Las Vegas died Friday in North Las Vegas. He was born June 25, 1955, in North Hollywood, Calif. A resident for 20 years, he was a general contractor.

He is survived by his wife, Shauna; one son, David Morgan of Reno; one daughter, Darissa Morgan of North Las Vegas; his father, Richard Morgan, and his mother, Mary Lewis, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Gary Morgan of Los Angeles and Robert Tully of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon until a 4 p.m. service Tuesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Helen N. Morris

Helen N. Morris, 78, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 24, 1926, in Logan, Utah. A resident for 51 years, she was a retired business owner.

She is survived by three daughters, Kristine Morris of McLean, Va., and Lynn Morris and Susan Morris, both of Las Vegas; one son, James B. Morris of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Antonia M. 'Tonie' Ortiz

Antonia M. "Tonie" Ortiz, 78, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born June 13, 1926, in Las Vegas, N.M. A resident for 55 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by five daughters, Connie Goericke, Helen Ramirez, Victoria DelaRosa and Patricia McCartney, all of Las Vegas, and Betty Dupuis of Lake Isabella, Calif.; one son, Marcos Ortiz of Las Vegas; one sister, Mercy Paez of Henderson; one brother, Pete Montoya of Denver, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Friday with a 6 p.m. vigil at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Anne Marie Pelliccione

Anne Marie Pelliccione, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 29, 1932, in New York. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired airline reservations clerk.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Betty Pierce

Betty Pierce, 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 11, 1927, in Iola, Kan. A resident for one year, she was a retired nurse.

She is survived by one daughter, Sharon K. Palmer of Las Vegas.

Daryl P. Venger

Daryl P. Venger, 61, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. He was born May 3, 1944, in England. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired Clark County School District teacher, a member of the National Education Association and Clark County Education Association.

He is survived by his wife, Lois; one stepson, Kelly McCallal; his mother, Marion Venger; and one sister, Karen Wynd.

Arrahwanna Shott

Arrahwanna Shott, 96, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 17, 1908, in Leitchfield, Ky. A resident for 32 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Robert J. Shott of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Richard Oliver Thorstad

Richard Oliver Thorstad, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 26, 1927, in Duluth, Minn. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired welder and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one son, Brian Thorstad of Casper, Wyo.; one daughter, Celia LaFave of Flagstaff, Ariz.; his companion, Ruth Dawes of Las Vegas; two brothers, David Thorstad of Duluth, Minn., and Lorrie Guith of Grand Rapids, Minn.; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Loretta M. Conroy Wiggins

Loretta M. Conroy Wiggins, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 14, 1919, in Nitro, W.Va. A resident for 44 years, she was a retired federal civil service employee, a Blythe, Calif., police sergeant, a Riverside County, Calif., probation officer and most recently a district supervisor for Metro Police.

She is survived by four daughters, Jacquelyn Turner of Bend, Ore., Jeri Torigian of Manchester, Mo., Patricia Reeves of Oxnard, Calif., and Pamela Moore of Los Gatos, Calif.
