This is in regard to Brian Greenspun's Sept. 19 column, "Mixing prayer, politics."
Greenspun is a courageous man for reminding the majority of what they so do not want to hear these days, that religion is an extremely personal and private affair. Government policy must not be based on the religious morals/beliefs of any one group, however large. Most importantly, the separation of church and state must be enforced.
We are full of admiration that there are still news leaders out there, such as Greenspun, who have the courage to speak the truth.
