Woodward, Bradlee
Journalist/author Bob Woodward and publisher Ben Bradlee will speak at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at UNLV's Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall as part of the Barrick Lecture series. Admission is free, but tickets are required. 895-2787.
Book signing

Film festival
The first Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender International Film Festival of Las Vegas, NeonFest, will be held from today to Sunday at the Neonopolis' Crown Theaters. Arts festival
The second annual Falll Fine Arts Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at MonteLago Village at Lake Las Vegas Resort. More than 75 artists will display original works. Admission is free. 939-8888 or www.lakelasvegas.com.
Heritage festival
The Cultural Affairs Division of the City of Las Vegas will host an American Indian Heritage Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Sammy Davis Jr. Festival Plaza in Lorenzi Park. Admission is free. 229-4614.
Wine tasting
The Nathan Adelson Hospice Golden Monarch Council will host its 5th annual Wine Tasting and Food Extravaganza from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Gaudin Jaguar/Porsche/Aston Martin dealership, 7200 W. Sahara Ave. Tickets are $40 per person, and proceeds benefit the Nathan Adelson Hospice. 349-3948.

Celebration ball
The Southern Nevada Chapter of the United States Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association will host a Celebration Ball from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the UNLV Moyer Student Union Ballroom. Tickets are $15 for members and students and $25 for guests. 656-8690.
Book signing
Author Merle Savage will sign copies of her book, "Silence in the Sound," on Saturday at Border's Book Store, 2190 N. Rainbow Blvd. Admission is free.
Book fair
Barnes & Noble, 8915 W. Charleston Blvd., will host a book fair today to donate a portion of sales to Spread the Word Nevada, a local literacy project. The store will donate a percentage of net sales from that location. 564-7809.
Tai Chi classes
