Samuel Lee Andrews

Samuel Lee Andrews, 72, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. An aircraft company administrator, he was born March 19, 1932, in Kansas.

He is survived by his significant other, Sandra Runkle of Henderson; one daughter, Julia Dixon of Lancaster, Calif.; three sons, Michael Andrews of San Francisco, Kirk Andrews of Burbank, Calif., and Donald Andrews of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Ramon N. Duque

Ramon N. Duque, 51, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 13, 1953, in Quezon City, Philippines. A resident for eight years, he was an assistant manager at a restaurant.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; one son, Ryan Duque, and one daughter, Jean Duque, both of San Diego.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Sadie Anne Edwards

Sadie Anne Edwards, 79, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. A homemaker, she was born Sept. 20, 1924, in Hazelton, Pa.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Todd Edwards; two grandchildren including Krystle Schulze of North Las Vegas; and one great-grandchild.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Newton William 'Bill' Freeman III

Newton William 'Bill' Freeman III, of Riverside, Calif., died Monday in Riverside. He was born Aug. 16, 1925, in Pine Bluff, Ark. A former Las Vegas resident for more than 40 years, he was a retired electrician, a 50-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 357 and a 32nd degree Mason.

He is survived by two sons, Don and Bill; two daughters, Susan and Nancy; two brothers, Paul Freeman and Oscar Kelly Freeman, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Elouise Pond of Texas; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. memorial service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

James F. Morrison

James F. Morrison, 62, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 23, 1942, in Oneonta, N.Y. A resident for 2 1/2 years, he was a retired aeronautical engineer for a jet engine production company.

He is survived by his wife, Diane; three sons, Christopher J. Morrison of Henderson, Gregg M. Morrison of Little Rock, Ark., and Robert Stevens Morrison of Las Vegas; his mother, Dorothy Morrison of Zepherhills, Fla.; and one sister, Dale Scott of Mount Upton, N.Y.

Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling private arrangements.

Jerald Douglas Odom

Jerald Douglas Odom, 58, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 10, 1946, in Sulligent, Ala. A resident for nine years, he was a salesman and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Keothip Odom; his mother, Lavelle Roberts Odom; two sons, William Odom and Jeromy Odom; and one sister, Judith Gibbs.

Visitation was scheduled noon until a 2 p.m. service today in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive.

Ann M. Pyle

Ann M. Pyle, 73, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. A nurse, she was born Nov. 17, 1930, in Pennsylvania.

She is survived by two sons, James Pyle of Henderson and Joseph H. Pyle of Arizona; three daughters, Patricia Fontenot of Henderson, Ruth Vlieger of California and Diane Pyle of Arizona.

Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Montrell D. Robinson

Montrell D. Robinson, 25, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 3, 1979, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a retail sales clerk and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his father, David Harris of Culver City, Calif.; his mother, Edna Joseph, one sister, Ashley Joseph, all of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Burial will be private.

Howard Griffin Sanders

Howard Griffin Sanders, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A U.S. Postal Service employee and a Navy veteran, he was born May 11, 1925, in Fort Scott, Kan.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise; two sons, Anthony Sanders of Palmdale, Calif., and Michael Sanders of California; and two grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in California. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Maria Alvarado Sepulveda

Maria Alvarado Sepulveda, 87, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 2, 1917, in El Paso, Texas. A resident for one year, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Martha Anderson and Marie Rachael Smith; one brother, Sabino Alvarado; one sister, Michela; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be in Arizona. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Joe Wegener

Joe Wegener, 66, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born May 14, 1938, in Lampasas, Texas. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired firefighter, a Navy veteran and a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.

He is survived by his wife, Patti; four daughters, Vicki Hamilton and Val Voight, both of Florida, Terri Wegener of Henderson and Tonya Shorey of Las Vegas; two sons, Robert Shorey of Las Vegas and Mel Shorey of Nashville, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
