Help sought after Hope House fire

Hope House, a nonprofit tax exempt corporation that serves women in Las Vegas who are recovering from alcohol or drug abuse, is asking the community for furniture to replace items lost in an accidental fire.

The electricity at the home is still out.

Although the house's structure is insured, its contents are not. The American Red Cross cannot help in this case because the home is considered a business.

Anyone who can spare three single beds, three night stands, three dressers with five drawers each, clothes, toiletries, food, towels or money is asked to contact Melba McGee at 499-8696.

The Certified Comprehensive Cancer Program
