Del American, a developer of multi-family communities, expanded on plans Tuesday for its second Las Vegas-area project.
The company is planning a $500 million, 50-story condominium tower at Hugh Hefner Boulevard near Flamingo Road and Valley View Drive. The tower will be to the west of the Palms hotel and casino. The name of the condo tower will be ONE Las Vegas.
The 542 units will range in price from $500,000 to $10 million. The units will range from 1,000 square feet to 10,000 square feet. Construction is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2005.
Del American also is developing Vegas Grand at Flamingo and Swenson Street, an 880-unit complex spread across five condominium buildings. Construction is scheduled to begin this month. Del American is based in Altamonte Springs, Fla.
