Albert 'Pete' Bolin Jr.

Albert "Pete" Bolin Jr., 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 2, 1940, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 44 years, he was a laborer at the Nevada Test Site, a member of Laborers Local 872 and the Teamsters Union.

He was preceded in death by one son, Albert B. Jr.; and one daughter, Kimberly Bolin.

He is survived by his wife, Janet; three daughters, Janice Bolin and Candice Bolin, both of Las Vegas, and Shatita Bolin of San Diego; one son, Ramon Bolin, three stepdaughters, Takeisha Browhaw, Josette Browhaw and Tamara McGowan, and two stepsons, Joseph Browhaw and Josiah Browhaw, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Mary Bolin of Las Vegas, Catherine Roach of Tallulah, La., and Geraldine Bolin of Melbourne, Australia; two brothers, Jimmy Bolin of Tallulah and Willie Bolin of Los Angeles; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Diana M. Calamia

Diana M. Calamia, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born May 13, 1932, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired pharmaceutical quality control inspector.

She is survived by one son, Timothy Calamia of Las Vegas; and three brothers, Raymond Petz of Las Vegas, Ronald Petz of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Anthony Petz of California.

Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., handled arrangements.

Richard Hunt

Richard Hunt, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 5, 1931, in Brockton, Mass. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired certified public accountant and a Korean War Navy veteran.

Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Norman Marsh

Norman Marsh, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 30, 1923, in England. A resident for 35 years, he was a retired real estate broker.

King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling private arrangements.

The family suggests donations to University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Foundation, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89154.

Joseph Carl Meneses

Joseph Carl Meneses, 41, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. He was born June 22, 1963, in Columbus, Wis. A resident for 15 years, he was a hotel computer programmer.

He is survived by his wife, Dawna; three sons, Bob Fleischer, and Stefan Meneses and Noah Meneses, both of Henderson; two daughters, Bailey Jean Meneses of Las Vegas and Blake Fleischer.; his parents, Vera and Juan Meneses of Mesa, Ariz.; two brothers, Ricky Dean Meneses and Randall John Meneses, and two sisters, Susan Kay Meneses and Jacqueline Marie, all of Arizona.

Services will be 6 p.m. Friday in the LDS Palora Avenue chapel. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the Joseph Meneses Memorial Fund at Business Bank, Account No. 001209841.

John 'Ordell' Peterson

John "Ordell" Peterson, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 29, 1925, in Fillmore, Utah. A resident for 51 years, he was a pipefitter/welder and a member of Local 525 and was a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Colleen; one son, Greg Peterson of North Las Vegas; one daughter, Diane Bringhurst of Twin Falls, Idaho; two brothers, Darrow Peterson of Las Vegas and Val Peterson of Pleasant Grove, Utah; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Thursday in the LDS Civic Center/Tonopah chapel, 2401 E. Tonopah Ave. Graveside services will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Victor M. Rivera

Victor M. Rivera, 79, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 24, 1924, in Puerto Rico. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired supervisor and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nellie; four daughters, Nellie Krawchuk and Nilda Kellar, both of Watauga, Texas, Margaret Brooks of Las Vegas and Ada Levine of Staten Island, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-noon Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 1:20 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
