Atkins tribute
Muriel Anderson will perform a tribute to Chet Atkins at 7 p.m. today at the Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive. Tickets are $15 general, $10 seniors and children under 12, $7 Guitar and Jazz society members. 455-7340.
Mariachi Cobre
Mariachi Cobre, one of the nation's leading Mariachi groups, will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Henderson Pavilion as part of the MariachiFest celebration. Tickets are $10 to $65. 267-4849.
Celtic concert
Fiddle player Martin Hayes, guitarist Dennis Cahill and Scotland's the Tannahill Weavers will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway. Tickets are $8 in advance and $12 at the door. 455-8200.
'Driving Miss Daisy'
The Las Vegas Little Theatre kicks off its 2004-05 season with "Driving Miss Daisy" at 8 p.m. today, Saturday and Thursday, and at 2 p.m. Sunday at 3844 Schiff Drive. Tickets are $18 adults, $15 seniors and students. 362-7996.
Jazz Under Stars
Jazz artists Warren Hill, Jeff Golub, Marc Antoine and Euge Groove will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at Spring Mountain State Park as part of the continuing "Jazz Under the Stars" series. Tickets are $45.50 general, $15 for children 13 to 18 and free for children 12 and under. 228-3780.
Walt Blanton Trio
The Walt Blanton Trio will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Reed Whipple Cultural Center, 821 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Admission is $7. 229-6211.
Workshops/concerts
Musicians James Lee Stanley and Michael Smith will host a series of workshops followed by concerts at Acoustic Routes, 2753 S. Highland Drive, at the following dates and times. 385-1232:
Songwriting workshops Tuesday -- Stanley at 6:30 p.m.; Smith at 9 p.m.
Concert by both Stanley and Smith at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

'Sounds of Summer'

Ballet Under Stars

'The People Yes!'

'Texarkana Waltz'
The Community College of Southern Nevada, in conjunction with Greenhouse Theatrical Group and Jade Productions, presents "Texarkana Waltz" at 8 p.m. today and Saturday, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Little Theatre of the Performing Arts Center, 3200 E.
