Celebrities to ride bikes for Nellis

Las Vegas Harley-Davidson presents its third annual Celebrity Ride from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at Harley-Davidson/Buell, 2605 S. Eastern Ave., to benefit Nellis Air Force Base personnel and families in need.

Celebrity line-up includes actors Gary Busey, Dan Haggerty, Michael Gregory, Gary Wood, Dennis Burkley, musician Craig Chaquico, Monster Garage's Big Schwag and several local celebrities.

Child anxiety clinic scheduled

A clinic designed to assist children and adolescents with anxiety disorders will be available at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, beginning Monday and running through May 1.

The UNLV Child School Refusal and Anxiety Disorders Clinic provides assessment and treatment for children 5 through 15 who have difficulty attending school or remaining in classes for an entire day.

Fees are based on each family's ability to pay. Parents interested in learning more about the clinic or scheduling an appointment should contact Kearney at 895-0183.

Veterans to get small-business tips

The Small Business Administration and Nevada Small Business Development Center are hosting a free small-business seminar and expo beginning with registration at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, followed by the program at 9 a.m. at the Tuscany Suites Casino, 255 E. Flamingo Road, to help veterans.

Veterans will learn the essentials of starting a business and about resources available to help them start, grow, and expand their business. The seminar will consist of a panel of experts to discuss entrepreneurship, business opportunities for veterans, and financing options.
