Services set for television executive DiMeolo

Services for longtime Las Vegas broadcasting executive Bill DiMeolo are slated for tonight and Friday. He died Sunday at age 72.
A memorial service for the 2003 inductee into the Nevada Broadcasters Hall of Fame is scheduled for 6 p.m. today at Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.
DiMeolo, who spent a half century in television and radio broadcasting, was vice president and general manager of KVVU Channel 5 during the 1970s and guided the station through its formative years.
