Catherine Touchstone and her newborn daughter, Kiana, got a visit from the Sears Grand stork and Cynthia McAffrey, in-store marketing manager/assistant store manager, at Southern Hills Hospital Monday.
The stork and store representatives brought baby-care baskets to 15 new parents at the hospital in honor of Labor Day. "No one labors as much as new parents," said local Sears spokeswoman Ruth Furman. Sears Grand, which opened in July near Interstate 215 and Flamingo Road, combines a traditional Sears store with new services and new items, such as pantry products, books and music.
