At the Republican Convention Wednesday night, the vitriolic diatribe from Dick Cheney and Zell Miller was the worst I have ever heard. Politics is one thing, but this type of personal attack on a political rival is uncalled for in America.
Where is the discussion of the issues that face everyday citizens of this country? Where is the discussion of Bush's broken promises of the 2000 campaign?
It is one thing to disagree on the political direction of the country, but character assassination is another. It all makes me sick. I am ashamed of the leadership representing our nation.
