Kenneth E. Butler

Kenneth E. Butler, 66, of Las Vegas died Sept. 30 in a local hospice. He was born Jan. 5, 1938, in Taft, Calif. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired electrician and Air Force veteran.

He is survived by two sons, James A. Butler of Las Vegas and Terry L. Butler of Redondo Beach, Calif.; his mother, Hattie Emma Heckman, and one sister, Diane Williamson, both of San Diego; and six grandchildren.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Joanne M. Capello

Joanne M. Capello, 68, of Henderson died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born May 13, 1936, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 3 1/2 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Frank A.; two sons, Michael Capello and Frank Capello Jr., both of New York; five daughters, Lisa Lewan of Henderson, Geraldine Amrouche and Marianne Grillo, both of Florida, Katherine Horne of South Carolina and Patricia Palermo of New York; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be 8:40 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way, Suite 1, is handling arrangements.

Mary Nobrega Enriquez

Mary Nobrega Enriquez, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born March 24, 1932, in California. A resident for 52 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Angelo, Christopher and Greg; two daughters, Anna Maria and Connie; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 11 a.m. service Monday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. Monday in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Lanis Lorraine Griffith

Lanis Lorraine Griffith, 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Henderson. She was born Nov. 12, 1940, in Phoenix. A resident for 37 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, William; two daughters, Penni Wittwer of Las Vegas and Sandra Snider of Henderson; one son, William Griffith Jr. of Klamath Falls, Ore.; four sisters, Patricia McDaniel of Parker, Ariz., Betty Bentley and Jeanette Berry, both of Phoenix, and Catherine Ramatulla of Cave Creek, Ariz.; two brothers, Clyde Dooley of Brigham City, Utah, and Bobby Dooley of Phoenix; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Apostolic Church of Las Vegas, 1665 Lindell Road. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Melvin Guidry

Melvin Guidry, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 29, 1932, in Crowley, La. A resident for 52 years, he was a hotel porter and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by one brother, Brooklyn Wilridge of North Las Vegas; and four sisters, Samella Ceaser and Annie Mae Handy, both of Louisiana, and Carolyn Cark and Annie Dell Wilridge, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 1-6 p.m. Wednesday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Thomas and Jones. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Lillian Marie (Rea) Lambert

Lillian Marie (Rea) Lambert, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born June 17, 1924, in Foraker, Okla. A resident for 41 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Candace Newman of Las Vegas and Sabra Bixler of Huntington Beach, Calif.; two sons, Kem Fredrick and Chris Lambert, both of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to a 10 a.m. service Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will follow at noon Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Adelbert E. McAdams

Adelbert E. McAdams, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 11, 1924, in Kansas City, Kan. A resident for many years, he was a driver and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by three sons, Thomas McAdams of Riverton, Utah, Michael McAdams and Charles McAdams; and one daughter, Patricia Ravenscraft.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today and one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Helen Ewing Nash

Helen Ewing Nash, 88, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 8, 1916, in Texas. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by one son, Mark Nash of Las Vegas.

Alton Lee Overton

Alton Lee Overton, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 24, 1933, in Alliance, Neb. A resident for 17 years, he was a service manager for Mosler Security, a retired Vietnam War Air Force master sergeant, president of the Retired Enlisted Association Chapter 84 in Las Vegas.

He was preceded in death by one son, Alton Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gertrude "Anne"; three sons, Donald Overton of California and William Overton and Daniel Overton, both of Las Vegas; three sisters, Margaret Salias and Juanita Batson, both of Washington state, and June Brehm of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling private arrangements.

Jose Rodriguez

Jose Rodriguez, 53, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 10, 1951, in Puerto Rico. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired hotel-casino supervisor.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; two sons, Jose Angel Rodriguez and Thomas Rawling, both of North Las Vegas; and 13 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Henderson.

Charles A. Zarnecki

Charles A. Zarnecki, 57, of Henderson died Saturday. A Pittsburgh police officer, he was born July 7, 1947.
