The North Las Vegas Library District in conjunction with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Las Vegas and the MetLife Foundation Reading America Program is looking for volunteers to participate in a new program designed for first generation Hispanic-American teenagers and a parent.
Participants will attend twice-monthly meetings, beginning 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the North Las Vegas Library, 2300 Civic Center Drive, North Las Vegas. Both the student and parent must be willing to attend the scheduled meetings together.
Participants will be part of a discussion group centered around a select list of video and book titles. Call Forrest Lewis at 633-1070.
