Letter: GOP to blame for any bad news

Congratulations are in order to the Republican Party. But, fellow Democrats, there some things that we must not forget.

Draft-dodger Dick Cheney said in so many words that if John Kerry is elected, we will be attacked again. If and when there is a second attack during Bush's watch, they will not be able to blame us Democrats.

The government is now under tighter control by the Republicans and the blame for all that goes wrong shall fall to them, not the Democrats.

For those seniors who are on Social Security and voted for Bush, please don't cry to any Democrats when your benefits are reduced. Privatization of the fund, by its very nature, shall cut into the existing benefits.

Kerry is actually blessed, because now President Bush will himself have to contend with the mess he has created in Iraq.

Take heart, my fellow Democrats, our loss is only temporary.
