One of the paramedics told them that since he would be off duty at the end of that run, he would come back and take them to the hospital so they could be with their friend. At that point, no one knew what had made her so ill. Because he took them to the hospital, they were able to be with their friend and make sure she was all right.
Our daughter was much calmer when we spoke to her at the hospital. Unfortunately, neither she nor her friends know the name of the paramedic who helped them. They just know he was "Captain Dan."
Our hope in writing this letter is that he will see it and know my daughter and her friends are extremely grateful for his kindness. All of the parents are also very thankful and appreciative. He helped ease a very scary situation for our girls. Thank you, Captain Dan, for going out of your way to help three scared young ladies.
