A man killed in a single-engine plane near Jean on Friday has been identified as Robert Charles Albright, 44, of Henderson, the Clark County coroner's office said.
Albright was the pilot and lone passenger aboard a Piper Tomahawk owned by Chuck Herrmann, owner of Desert Southwest Airlines, a flight school at Henderson Executive Airport.
The plane crashed apparently at night or just before dawn in a desert area about seven miles east of Jean, Metro Police said.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the incident.
