Robert A. Bergland

Robert A. Bergland, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 28, 1934, in Sioux City, Iowa. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired painter.

He is survived by his wife, Rita; one son, Dennis Quinn of Houston; two daughters, Tricia Quinn of Las Vegas and Cheryl Newton of Houston; and four grandchildren.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Derrick L. Butler

Derrick L. Butler, 40, of Las Vegas died Tuesday. He was born Oct. 25, 1963, in Sacramento. He was a retired Air Force master sergeant.

He is survived by his wife, Ramona; one daughter, Alisa Butler, his mother, Opal Howard, one sister, Monica Smith of Las Vegas; and one brother, Kirk Butler of Sacramento.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Thomas McKnight Cromartie

Thomas McKnight Cromartie, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 2, 1931, in Mount Olive, N.C. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired attorney and a Navy lieutenant.

He is survived by his wife, Gerry Serino Cromartie of Las Vegas; three daughters, Kara Witcher of Nelson, British Columbia, Sharon Cromartie of Ventura, Calif., and Jan Cromartie of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; two sons, Kevin Cromartie of Bozeman, Mont.; one brother, Junius Cromartie of Dayton, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Desert Springs United Methodist Church, 120 N. Pavilion Center Drive. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Donald C. Donahue

Donald C. Donahue, 81, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 16, 1923, in Chicago. A resident for three years, he was a retired salesman in the advertising industry and a member of Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by two daughters, Nancy A. Cook of Hermosa Beach, Calif., and Nancy Ware of St. Paul, Minn.; one son, Donald Donahue of Chicago; and eight grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling private arrangements.

Sam H. Koe

Sam H. Koe, 61, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 1, 1942, in San Francisco. A resident for 12 years, he was a collector for a collection agency.

He is survived by one cousin, Rita Morris of El Dorado Hills, Calif.

La Donna M. Korb

La Donna M. Korb, 43, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. She was born Aug. 21, 1960, in Simi Valley, Calif. A resident of Las Vegas for 35 years and most recently a Henderson resident for three years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Randy; three daughters, Amanda Krietlow of Las Vegas and Angela Korb and Nichole Korb, both of Henderson; her father, James Tingley of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Sharyn Gwyn Ricks-Keller

Sharyn Gwyn Ricks-Keller, 58, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 5, 1945, in Utica, N.Y. A resident for 29 years, she was a 21 dealer.

She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Kendinian of Henderson and Nikki Dawson and Melanie Davis, both of Las Vegas; one son, Stephen Ricks of Henderson; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 30 minutes prior to a noon service Tuesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. A private burial will follow.

James W. 'Red' Robinson

James W. "Red" Robinson, 60, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 9, 1933, in Kanab, Utah. A resident for 38 years, he was an electronics technician and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marjorie; two daughters, Donna Robinson and Kathryn Sterrenberg; three sons, Jimmy Robinson, Steven Robinson and Scott Duncan; two brothers, Earl Robinson and Mac Robinson; one sister, Betty Pool; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Additional visitation is scheduled 90 minutes prior to an 11 a.m. service Thursday in the Mission Hills LDS Chapel, 485 E. Mission Drive, Henderson. Burial will be 1 p.m. Friday in Kanab Cemetery. Mosdell Mortuary, Kanab, is handling arrangements.

Virginia Stewart

Virginia Stewart, 72, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. A gift shop manager, she was born Sept. 13, 1931, in Tennessee.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; two sons, Benny D. Fuller of Henderson and Gary S. Fuller of Atlanta; one daughter, Angela C. Delisle of Pensacola, Fla.; three sisters, Grace M. Allen and Margaret Moorefield, both of Atlanta, and Helena Cellini of Miami; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Atlanta. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Lee Tiberi

Lee Tiberi, 94, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local health care center. He was born Jan. 15, 1910, in Italy. A resident for 47 years, he was a retired Riviera floor supervisor.

He is survived by two sons, John F. Tiberi and Robert Tiberi, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Ralph Tiberi of Boulder City; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Roy A. Van Voorhis

Roy A. Van Voorhis, 56, of Las Vegas died Tuesday. He was born May 18, 1947, in Canandaigua, N.Y. He was a retired Air Force master sergeant and a senior technician for EG&G.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; two daughters, Gail Dawson of North Carolina and Marcia Van Gelder of Florida; one stepdaughter, Melinda Griffin, and one stepson, Randy Odom, both of South Carolina; his parents, Charles and June Van Voorhis of New York; one sister, Amy Isaacson of California; and six grandchildren.
